Egg Nog #4 (Optional alcohol Punch / Party Drink Punch bowl)
Description
In a small bowl, beat the egg yolks until blended. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating on high speed until thick and lemon-colored. Add milk, add rum, bourbon, vanilla and salt. Cool well. Whipped cream. Wash the mixers well. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Add the yolk mixture and whipped cream to the egg whites. Serve immediately. Sprinkle nutmeg over each serving. Serve in a punch bowl or other large bowl. NOTE: For a non-alcoholic eggnog, prepare the eggnog as above, except omit the bourbon and rum and increase the milk to 3 cups.
